The Cats of Rhodes
In the alleys of Rhodes, in the shadows of its harbours, and on its weathered stone steps, there lives a quiet yet ever-present community: the stray cats. They wander alongside old walls, slip between the tables of bustling tavernas, and pause in patches of sunlight as if keeping watch over the rhythm of the city itself.
Each cat has its own story. One searches for food and shelter, another stretches contentedly on a sun-warmed stone, while a third gazes at passers-by as though waiting for the chance of a better tomorrow.
This exhibition invites visitors to pause and share a moment in their world — observing with empathy, curiosity, and respect the lives of the cats that have become an inseparable part of Rhodes.
